We recognise that we need genders to work together and we know there are some brilliant male leaders who recognise and champion the need for women at every level in their organisation. Self care, the absolute foundation of health and the ultimate purpose of our  industry, is so often deprioritised with huge costs to ourselves, those who rely upon us and society at large.  

So this award is designed for someone who truly gets that wellbeing starts with themselves. Someone who knows their own needs and sets and holds their boundaries to ensure those core needs are met. Someone who inspires others by their commitment to wellbeing, who encourages others to do the same and is a wellbeing role model and champion in their company or industry at large.

Finally ‘bikini medicine’, the mistaken belief that women’s health only differs from men’s in the parts of the body that a bikini would cover, is being exploded and women’s health is starting to be considered in its own right.

From peri-menopause/menopause to endometriosis to cardiovascular health and Alzheimer’s a revolution is starting to happen. We want to recognise someone who is leading the way. It could be in R&D or commercial, agency or industry.
