We are delighted to announce that PD Dr. Dr Berna Oezdemir and Shirin Heidari will be joining us to share their extensive knowledge about gender differences in oncology.

Why do women experience worse toxicity side effects than men whilst receiving chemotherapy but have significantly better survival outcomes?

Why are men more susceptible to skin and bladder cancers?

Why do non-smoking women get lung cancer at a higher rate than non-smoking men?

What differences do body compositions or metabolism make when receiving cancer treatments?

And what are the implications for how we should be studying cancer therapies and treating patients to optimise outcomes for the future?

Come and explore the sex and gender differences with a mindset of curiosity from 2 pioneers who are challenging the status quo to make a positive difference in medical oncology and health in general.

By registering, we will add your email to our Women in Pharma database to be kept up to date on our activities. You can opt out of these communications by unsubscribing or emailing us at info@womeninpharma.network.
